The Sift Before the Shift

I believe there is a great sifting happening in the body of Christ. Leading up to the New Year of 2025, the church and the people thereof will undergo a great sift to prepare for the shift.

I heard the Lord say, "The church comes alive in 2025." But for the awakening to happen, there has to be a separation of the outer shell (our flesh) so that the wheat can be seen.

During this season of sifting, the Lord is going to require you to do many hard things. It may look different from person to person. It may be a season of fasting, extravagant giving, cutting off unholy connections/relationships, exposing darkness, or changing a lifestyle. Do not look at this and become downcast or sad. In order to get oil, there has to be a crushing, and in order to get wine, there has to be a pressing.

Some of you reading this have been experiencing the pressing and crushing already. You may be saying to yourself, "I don't know how much more I can bear before I break." But that is exactly what the Lord wants; breaking, crushing, and pressing because through the hottest fires comes the purest gold.

The enemy will try to convince you that your actions are wrong and will try to detour you from your obedience. But as I write this, I hear the Lord saying, "The level of glory you experience in 2025 is determined by the level of obedience in this sifting season." The Bible says obedience is better than sacrifice, but sometimes obedience requires sacrifice, too.

You may be thinking, "Well, this is not a sin," "I really need this money," or "I love this person." But the Lord is asking the body to do hard things right now and you are not alone in this.

Surrender to the sift and allow yourself to be pressed because what the Lord is going to do in 2025 will astound you. But the level of glory and encounter you experience in 2025 is determined by your obedience today.
